Recipes

In November 2012 I started on a journey of healthy (healthful?) eating. I believe that healthy living starts with healthy eating and while I cannot always afford organic foods, I can at least not purchase empty foods. What do I mean by empty foods? Pick up a package of anything on the grocery store shelves and have a look at the nutritional facts. Is there really anything in that package of cookies or box of flavored instant noodle & sauce mix that is good for you? Do any of the nutrients in the product come from the ingredients themselves or are they added (Enriched) nutrients?

By February of 2013 I had sworn off processed foods and have been cooking everything myself from whole foods.

Here you will find some of my tasty recipes. I'm a sucker for flavor so you'll find I use a lot of garlic, onion, herbs, & spices (especially the spicy hot ones!) in my recipes. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
